I believe that you never truly understand something until you are able to communicate it to others. For research, this means papers and presentations, while for foundational knowledge, this takes the form of books and courses.
So far, I have been fortunate to be involved in a variety of teaching and mentoring roles:
- Starting Fall 2022, I have been a TA in the physics department at UPenn
- Starting Fall 2022, I have graded assignments for math students at UPenn
- Starting Spring 2022, I have lead demonstrations and science activities for elementary school students in West Philadelphia through Science Education Academy (SEA)
- Starting Fall 2021, I am mentoring undergraduates at UPenn as they progress through degree programs towards their goals.
- From Fall 2019 through Spring 2021, I was a Peer Learning Facilitator with the Academic Advancement Program at UCLA
- As an undergraduate, I created Formula Sheets
- From Spring 2020 through Summer 2021, I taught physics to middle school students at GATE Academy in San Rafael California
- During Fall 2018, I guided new math majors in their transition from community college to UCLA as a Transfer Student Mentor through the UCLA Transfer Student Center
- During the 2016-2017 school year, I was a tutor for introductory, general, and organic chemistry at the College of Marin Tutoring and Learning Center
